Then he completed training in orthopedics in the USA. Worked as a senior physician in the department of orthopedics at the University Hospital of Vienna. In 1979 he was awarded the title of professor. Since 2010 he is medical director of the Vienna private clinic. During his career he managed to be president of various research associations. Also, the professor was awarded numerous honorary awards, including the medal of Henry Dunant of the World Red Cross, the Erich Lekser Prize, the Erwin-Schrödinger Prize of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and others.

 An outstanding oncologist, a specialist in targeted therapy and immunotherapy for cancer. A graduate of the University of Vienna. For a long time he was engaged in scientific research at the Cancer Institute of Boston, USA. He holds the post of head of the clinical department of oncology and medical center at the University of Vienna. He leads a private practice in the Wiener private clinic. Since 1992, he holds the title of Professor of Medical and Experimental Oncology. He is the curator of numerous studies of new methods of cancer therapy. Also, the professor heads the Central European Cooperative Oncology Group. The founder of the advocacy group on the rights of Viennese patients "Life with Cancer". The treatment of uterine cancer, surgery in oncology, as well as progressive methods of treating breast cancer and lung cancer are his fields of interest.

The Wiener PrivatKlinik is located in the heart of the medical district of Vienna, next to the largest public clinic Vienna General Hospital. Vienna Medical University is also located here. The location of the clinic in the medical district explains the liveliness and development of the transport network, which makes the access to the hospital more convenient. The road from Vienna International Airport to the clinic will take about 20 minutes by car (about 20 km away), and it will take about 50 minutes by public transport. A 5-minute walk from the hospital is a tram stop Skodagasse and Alser Strasse metro station. In the vicinity of the hospital there are several parks (Park Ostarrihi, Schönbornpark, Sigmund-Freud Park), the old building of the Vow Church and many other historical sites. The road to the very center of Vienna will take no more than 15-20 minutes. Nearby for patients there is a large selection of hotels for every taste and budget, apartments are also rented. There is also a large number of food establishments - coffee shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, where you can dine deliciously. Walking on foot towards the city center, you can visit at least 3 museums located nearby and admire the City Hall.
