PROF. Mohamed Rela

Transplantology

Experience:more than 25 years

One of the best liver transplant specialists in the world. In 1986 he received a medical degree in Edinburgh. Over his more than 35 years of practice, the doctor performed more than 3,000 liver transplants.

Mohamed Rela was included in the Guinness Book of Records for carrying out a liver transplantation operation for a child of five days. The specialist is known for transplanting patients with terminal stage of hepatic insufficiency.

The professor is one of the heads of the department of transplantology Global Hospitals and a researcher at the Royal Medical College. In total, he is an author of more than 300 scientific works on transplantology.
