CARDIOLOGY AND CARDIAC SURGERY IN THE FREIBURG UNIVERSITY CLINIC

The Freiburg University Center for Cardiovascular Diseases is Germany's largest cardiological center (377 beds). Its branches are located in two cities: Freiburg and Bad Krozingen.

The largest number of operations for the replacement of cardiac valves, cardiac catheterization, and the largest number of patients with myocardial infarction are performed here in Germany. Every year, there are more than 20 heart transplants as well.
