CENTER FOR ROBOTIC SURGERY VYSO?INA

In the Center for Robotic Surgery of St. Zdislav Hospital Vyso?ina wide range of minimally invasive operations using the Da Vinci Robot System is conducted . From 2007 till date, there are more than 2000 such operations performed and this number is constantly increasing . The center of robotic surgery Vysochina is considered one of the largest centers of Europe in this field. For carrying out the robotic surgical intervention, patients come here not only from the whole Czech Republic, but also from other countries including Germany, since the prices here are much lower than the average European prices. In the Center for Robotic Surgery of Vyso?ina daVinci system of the manufacturer IntuitiveSurgical is used. Today it is the most modern method of surgery. He received his doctorate at the University of Bratislava. Holds a diploma from the University of Strasbourg, confirming his qualification in laparoscopic surgery.

 

In 2006, he received a certificate for performing robotic operations on DaVinci. In 2008, got recognition as a specialist in robotic surgery from the Society of Robotic Surgery in Czech Republic . At the moment he is the head of the department of oncological urology of the Masaryk Memorial Institute of Cancer in Brno. In parallel, he is the leading surgeon with a specialization in robotic surgery of urology at the Vyso?ina Center of the Hospital of St. Zdislav.

 

Completed several trainings at the Institute of Urology of London, the University of Indianapolis and the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, the Inselspital Clinic in Switzerland, and the neurosurgical department of the Werner-Wicker Clinic in Germany.
